The switch should close at between 170 & 205 mBar absolute - if it closes at less than this or takes higher vac to close it should be regarded as faulty. The manual calls for 5 to 6" Hg and I think my math is correct but you might want to double check - knowing my mathmatical prowess ![]() You can also check it works by means of the dynamic ignition timing but that doesn't tell you that it is in calibration of course. |

ok thanks chaps. had a slight missfire at just over 3k (tacho needle jumps UP a little) so thought it might be a poor contact in the switch as it swaps ignition curves. |
