Hi PH, the HARD RESET is NOT done by the HD 'techs'.
They will not have a clue what you are going on about!
It's quite easy to do, follow the 'how to', and lucky you, you won't even need ECMSpy to do the standard TPS Reset!
No matter how many times you do the standard TPS reset, it will make no difference!
I tested every electrical part of my Uly when I had probs, and took it back to my dealer and they changed the intake seals, I took it out before I left with it, and it was fine, until I got home.
Deturimed to fix it, every time I took something apart and reconnected it, I would have a positive result, for about 5 miles, then the 'stutter' and 'bogging down' would come back again.
I changed the plugs, air filters, petrol, ignition timing, ECUs, re-routed the breather pipes and adjusted the exhaust valve cable. Nothing made any difference, until I reset the TPS on the throttle body. Bang, instantly better, and after the AFV ride, has never faltered since, not even after changing ECUs to run a Quill pipe and now I'm back on stock ECU and pipe.
Today I started it and it just ticked over like a carbed Harley, perfectly, like clockwork.
