Ok, update, got back from Belgium and bike straight into workshop, Oberon slave ready to fit and try.... its is a different design and complete replacement...in about 2 week Adam should be road testing it hopefully, when we looked at mine guess what.....leaking so 7500 miles no problem would last a bit longer but once underway leaking, failure not far behind.
We commented about the 09's being the ones that are standing the test of time, well they are just on a time scale waiting to happen...
as soon as I have more info I will post, but things well underway and full testing ASAP. . :yup: :yup: :yup: :yup:

The Piston/Slave is installed, everything fits perfectly and there are no leaks. On weekend I drive 1000 km, then I'll see if it is still dry.

Be interested in the results. Where did you get it from and how much was it.

Following the changing of mine (for the latest rev) under warranty (HD want to continue warrantying my Nov 08 58 Reg bike until the end of this year....and I will not be arguing!) I don't need one now but may well do in the future ... pending the successful testing and hopeful release of the Oberon one

The Piston/Slave is from KTM Hannover http://www.ktm-h.de/ it costs ca. 300,- € without shipping.

still underway not happy with some bits  still trying to get some info on the 1190 slave but being hard, another construction of complete housing and cyl is also in cad process as we speak, anyone that has access to 1190 we need to contact, it is a case of they have made things so complex trying to cure the faults that we might need to have total new design including outer housing  will keep ya posted :ill: :ill:
