as for the blue i have used the tin stuff but also used prussion blue (artist oil paint ) just a dab with a bit of oil works great ( we used to get the apprentices to file a 3in block of black drawn steel square then blue one side and use a bearing scraper to get it flat, fun time's were had by all :D )

the tuber whent before i got through to him ,been and looked at a couple o S1W.s locally ,now grumblys down gonna bring forward the plans i had for the end of next year for her to this winter :yup: a tuber is off the radar now :D

weighed my worn out oil pump gear and a spare good one tonight :D ,only ten gramms diference between the two :yup: ,here is ten gramms of milling swarf :shock: ,DONT think you would put all this in your engine would you ,this IS what has gone through my engine since its FIRST start up from new FFS :rotfl: :rotfl:

things moveing again ,got whats left of my engine on a stand ,so pump gasket removed and oil pump spindal lifted as i feel it would be when spinning ,dont look to bad now but i recon needs to raised some more to be safer ,so 1mm off the pump body ,if things get a little close ,i can always fit a gasket ,intened to run without one :yup:

shot sum good footage last night of the gear on the crank turning the oil pump ,vid one is with the oil pump gearshaft sat on the pump body second one with the spindal lifted as
i think it would be in usage,

dude normans s1w gear looks like that you could have a fucking shave with it :rotfl: ,i was wondering what the gear looked like in that engine in boxes i purchased thats at yours :yup: .so i now need three fecking gears .norman 1 n 2 for my2 engines :rotfl: :rotfl:

mine went at 8000...i did ride it like a sports bike ..but still 8000

I replaced mine with a berylium bronze one last week.
32000 km (not all mine)and it was'nt really that bad ,but better save than sorry!
Also milled 1.5 mm from the oilpump for better fitment with the new drive gear.
