 Post subject: XB12XT Brake Pedal

I looked at the brake pedal to see if the height could be adjusted and thought it was just a case of undoing a locknut and tightening the set screw but I was wrong as it dont seem to move. So can the pedal be raised to make it more comfortable for me? I love my Uly but its just the foot controls that make it awkward with arthritic knees. :(

Can't you take a split pin, then clevis pin out and screw the yoke in and out?

Thanks Pash :D - job done, but I could still use a bit more height with the pedal but im at the end of the setscrew adjuster!

Post a photo of the screw and master cylinder. You could cut the screw and join it with a long threaded tube with lock nuts top and bottom.

Hi Foby.

I have had the same problem with the height of the brake pedal. I made a Mod to fix this, my bike is a XB12X, so if you still have a problem let me know.

I still need to lift the pedal half an inch mate but Pash idea seems sound unless you have an alternative ;)
