I bought some Motrax bar-end crash protectors for my STT to replace the little plastic one the handguards fit into since I've decided I'm never going to use them.

The packet said "fits both bar sizes", but I'm guessing the Buells are the third size since these were too small to fit in the bar?

So, what size are the bars on my bike?
(I didn't have a ruler with me)

Maybe you need to know the ID rather than the OD. I've replaced my OEM bars with Renthals. The Renthals are much thicker, and the little plastic bar end thingies won't fit inside them, not that I care really

Just wrap some insulating tape around them for a snug fit, then do the bolts up.

Well, just exchanged them for some bar-end weights that are a little bigger and have an expanding rubber bit that fits them so hopefully they should be good.

Only had chrome though so the old rattle can will be coming out again.
