Where can I buy a Forcewinder for an S1 from in the UK and how much do they cost? I notice on http://www.useforce.com that you can get an XR or an XR-2 for the S1, but I not sure which one I need... Although the pictures are the same, the XR-2 appears to have "Polished Aluminum Tube Breather Set-Up w/Silver AN Fittings" |

Can't stand the things myself, so I can't help you with your question directly. But, if you buy a used one take care, as there are copy ones around. There was also a problem with a batch of them partly blocking an air bleed port on the Keihin carb. I can't remember the precise nature of the fault but I'm sure Maz will remember. |

I had to get one about two months ago for my x1 - couldn't get one in the uk at all - in fact i don't think Maz could get one in europe at the time. In the end i got one from the states off ebay - a company called themotorworks - the part itself (xr-2) was £207 plus delivery and then i got hit for import tax etc. but it still came out about £70 cheaper than the uk (trojan) suppliers could get me one for. delivery was 9-12 days i think. |
