I don't get why you would start with a Buell for a drag bike?
Adding on 6" to the swingarm will ruin the handling of the bike. A stock Hayabusa will do that time.

The bike is built to go in a straight line - he has a CR for the straight.
And as to why a Buell, well why not ? Perhaps Joe wanted something different ...

There's a whole host of stock Japanese 125's that would piss all over my Methanol burning JAP/Enfield 600cc race bike. Do I yearn to own a Nip 125?..............do I fu.......

If your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough.

The answer to that is very similar to why you chose to ride a Buell when other bikes are 'better'.
