Hi all went into Warr's just before xmas. Bought some soft grips reduced from£82 down to £40. Are they worth it or was i a mug. Just unpacked my exhaust tails for the 1125 albert666 has done a great job.

Are these the Traction grips talked about when Avalaugh was after a pair ? If so then you were royally stitched up.

There also used to be another Buell grip set, which IIRC were a lot more expensive ( £50 + ) that were dropped from the range some time ago - may have been those I suppose.

Bugger - I really must learn to pay more attention and post quicker !

Fazer, take no notice of me, they were worth whatever you were prepared to pay.

And I'm a fine one to talk with the amount of junk I've bought over the years and not even bothered to fit ( they always seem to be such a good idea at the time ) !

Can't answer you question about if they're any good or not, never tried them. It really is a personal choice thing - some people on here love the Buell Traction grips - although I have a pair fitted I don't think they are as good as the standard grips - I just can't be bothered to take them off again !

Fazer53, those are the ones they tried to flog me !! I wanted traction grips and got a pair thanks to Pash. Loveing them by the way :)

See this thread - viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3722

But Warrs couldn't explain why they were so dear, but you live and learn.

May as well fit them now, i bet no-one else will have a set (especially at that price :( )

Of course you could always just fit a set of Motrax dual compound grips which cost about £7 a pair and give you comfort and feel.
