LOL,seems like a bargin to me,i wouldn't mind it,at the moment it has 108 watchers,and lots of message interest too.a couple of people have been to see it,and wanted to end the auction early,when it was at the show someone i was chatting to,i didn't tell him it was mine,thought the asking price would be about 10k,here's hoping

I can assure you that I already do, albeit not in the way you suggest. I can further assure you that neither of my bikes will ever look even remotely like that.

I can assure you that I already do, albeit not in the way you suggest. I can further assure you that neither of my bikes will ever look even remotely like that.

by putting picture of this bike on a forum I accept it's not to everyones taste,but I suppose one can hope it will be well recieved.TBH 03 i'm not really bothered what you think of that bike,and from the reaction to the bike whenever it's parked i'd suggest you are in the minority,and i'm proud of it and i've put my particular vision into reality.What you done lately?

I like it, I don't think I would want it myself, but it has nice spoked wheels (like my dad's Morini), a nice exhaust (OK, I must admit, I am not a great fan of the tail pipe) and loads of other bits of detail. In general, I like it... Well done...

Retromic don’t get me wrong personally I can appreciate what you’ve done. I also like the look of the café racers ace café are producing. In my yooth it would have been my dream bike. Wouldn’t have one now though, the thought of being hunched up over the tank holding on to clip on bars is not appealing.

The bike I always wanted a Norvin did he next best thing and built a Triton with a unit Boneville engine. Unfortunately I didn’t like it and got shut fairly quickly. (Do wish I’d kept it though)

Which is why the Tubers are so appealing to me. The steroid popping hardly engine in a modern frame and controls. Modern in context of better then the Brit iron of my early years and not being boring rice.

And at least if you had to defile a tuber you didn't build a feckin chopper. :twisted:

thanks robin,when i read my earlier post,the tone of it came over differently than i ment,i guess that when you do a project you get so wrapped up in it that although i personally don't need praise to make me feel good,you unreasonable expect everyone to share the enthusiam too.it's a marmite bike,and cutting the Buell about took me a while to start as I enjoyed the bike in it's standard form,but i wanted a project and that's why a pressed on as it were,half of me would like to keep it,along with the Honda RC30,1968 porsche and Honda RS250R race bike i had in the past,but i usually decide to do something,set to it and once it's done i lose interest.
I would say thanks to this forum for all the advice I've had.And i have pmsl more reading some posts ,than on the other forums I'm on.
