I'm planning on having the amber wheels painted black but only if I can have an amber pin stripe put on at the same time. The pin stripe has got to match the colour of the tank/air filter cover badge.

Any suggestions as to who I should have do the work? Best they were in Scotland so I can pick them up in person once they're done.

Well that's mighty helpful. Thanks :D :D

My amber wheels have done 12000 miles and are starting to look like they need some fresh paint. I don't want to lose the amber and don't want to go gold however it struck me that black with a touch of amber would modernise the look and leave the bike looking even smaller.

Pin Stripe certainly seems to split opinion but the Big4 are doing it as are Buell on their 1125.

Any how, I'll rephrase the question:

Any one know any one in Scotland who can refinish my wheels in translucent amber?

See my post "wheel colour". I am also thinking of black and gold, but I think I will have mine powdercoated black in the centre with gold rims.
