I've been talking to the chap who runs this website. Seems like a very amenable fellow, name of André.

Some of the 'fancy' designs aren't really my cup of tea, but the simple ones look good, I think. In fact, there are a few that look better than the originals.

André sent me my order before I'd paid for it, as he knew I was in a rush - very trusting and decent, so I said I would put a good word in for him here.

Is that carbon fibre sport one stronger and lighter than the rest?

There are awesome, I like the tip of using a fork to remove the needles!

Clever how it changes for night riding with a watermarked image, cool stuff

I like the website, some of the designs aren't to my taste... but the website's smart with the little animation of the bike starting up.

Almost lets you see how it'd really look with one exception - the animation doesn't vibrate like a crack addict on detox, and when the red lights come on with the ignition and go off again, they should all come back on again and stay on shouldn't they?

That's what mine tend to do anyway... :headbang:

I think sometimes that the subtleties of the English language is beyond some people. :ffs:

You need to spell it out Norm, Zoid's obviously been at the glue again.

OK, I'll give it a go if you think it's worth it... ;)

Ash said, on Monday 6th July, that the new backgrounds arrived "today", as in Monday 6th July.

He also said, on Monday 6th July, that he "will fit it at the weekend". Whilst he didn't specify which weekend, the earliest weekend available would be the weekend of 11th / 12th July. Note that Ash's use of the future tense, "will", suggests that he hasn't yet got the UKBEG time machine reliably functioning so he cannot go back to a previous weekend to fit it.

Therefore, when Zoidberg asked, on Thursday 9th July, whether Ash had fitted the background, he rather, IMO, opened himself up for cheap ridicule. A situation he exacerbated when he made even more obvious his inability to interpret Ash's original post or my subsequent overly-sarcastic response.

Do you think that helped, Spook?

Maybe I should have just said "Ash said he'll fit them at the weekend. We haven't had one yet" 8-)
