I had an excellent day at Moorespeed racing today while my bike was having its 5k service and new tyres. Tubbs did a great job on my bike, and the attention to detail was brilliant, hell he even bought me lunch! While checking the tensioner pulley for play Tubbs found that the bearings had seized up and there was a lot of play in the wheel. The tensioner has only been on there for 2K miles so it might be worth anyone who has one to give is a once over. Bearing part number 62032Rscm (according to the box). Also the rear wheel bearing was seized solid, not good on a bike that's done 4200 miles! The service was about 3 hours odd and went without hitch. Riding it home, it felt like a brand new bikes, and the new tyres completely transformed the ride, although it did make for a slippery and scary trip through the forest! While there I was chatting with Colin and we are trying to sort out a UKBEG discount on parts, and servicing for us all as well as a discount on things like levers, mirrors, Free Spirits pulleys etc. They have a really good range of stuff in the shop and I will be uploading a catalogue in PDF format once its finished .. The service was really reasonable considering I had tyres, wheel bearings, pulley bearings, more coffee that I could drink, and went way above and beyond what I was expecting, I even got a free piss take! I also learnt a lot about my bike and got in the way a lot which I'm good at Quite a few Buells in the workshop so its good to see business doing well, So yeah, I cant recommend them highly enough

Not entirely sure they were built to withstand 100+mph wheelies for too long! |

Anyway, I though you were gonna let me know, I've been off all this week. Spent the day shifting 6 tonne of 20mm gravel on my drive. Could have done with a break.
