Nah I am already sorted thanks to S3Tim, he has provided me the dimensions I think I will need and I have chromoly tubing on order. Once it all arrives later this week will get it and frame off to a specialist to hopefully replicate the original tail.

I quite like the twin shock back end. I think twin shock suits the Buell well.

I doubt if the tail frame would take the stresses of the shocks there.

Without strengthening probably right. But it can be done. Norton Commando (the real ones) had a very similar concept rubber mount engine/swing arm assembly in a twin shock frame.

in the picture from the rear of the bike wheel alignment looks way off and check dust on tire :?:
