Hi
the X1 seat is fairly narrow
(not as bad as the S1 narrow  )
so taking a bit of foam out may help a bit ..
i think someone on here made a bracket to lower , rear suspension on a tube frame Buell
can't remember which one though sorry ?

Let some air out of the tyres.

Sorry had to say that.

Take some foam out & replace it with this.

There are cheaper ones on ebay I just found this one quickly for you.

All the best & welcome.

I'm around the same height and have a standard seat on my S1 which is ok plus a re- shaped seat with gel pad which is better. If you know what you're doing you can re-shape it yourself, an electric carving knife is good for this. Or pay a professional to do a neat job that'll come with a minimum 12 month guarantee. If you're in the northwest I can recommend a couple. Oh and welcome to the site......... Dave

:yt:

It's a lot easier to mod the seat than you may think. The electric carving knife is a top idea.
