Now I may be being stupid (it has been known ![]() Also, it would appear I have a weep from the right fork seal, from what I read its also worthwhile changing out the stock fork springs for a 07 spring. This im very interested in as I find the front dives quit hard on braking but that could be a low level of fluid in the legs! And lastly, changing the fork seals, is it pretty straight forward? I am in need of a manual which im trying to find at the moment! Thanks All |

You may have a 2005 reg but the first Uly model year was 2006. I have an 06 and changed to the 07 springs however I think the biggest change is to use a thicker fork oil. Manual here - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=12414 Note that is for a 2007 which has a different air gap in the forks to the 2006 (and different forks compared to 08/09/10 Ulys). |

thanks Pash, the year makes sense now then! did all Ully's come with six pots then? i read your post yesterday, most helpful, i missed all this before when I have my 07 I guess! If i can find a original set of 07 springs still I may do this just because why not while its apart, and I dont remember the diving issues that bike (owned from new) |

My 06 Ully has been fitted with Progressive springs and set up according to their instructions.(not too different from stock) I cant remember if they came with oil or I installed Screaming Eagle oil either way it was a vast improvement. Brembo brake pads make a big difference. |
