Thanks for your concern Smithy......I've been very lucky (so far)......the images of Beck and Polizer on Park Road are aprox 500 yards from my place ! :(
I've been in today and moved as much stuff as possible onto my racking :?
Bizarrely the insurance company's data base said my old unit was not a flood risk, even though it was actually below the river bank (today would have seen it completely submerged !) whereas my new unit is at least 20 foot above the banking but they wont give me flood cover because the same data base says it is a risk :? .......if the tossers ever left their ivory towers/keyboards and actually came to survey the risks, they'd see how flawed that data is :headbang:

Glad you are ok at the moment. Sensible action putting everything on racking. Take care. Fingers crossed it stays dry for you. :yup:

Far from everything Jill......bottom 2' of my tool boxes emptied and some of the more valuable stock moved. Any water in the shop will still cause devastation and without insurance, it would be the final straw :sad1:
