Adventure style bikes are the biggest selling bikes in the UK and Europe - have been for ages MT09 tracer even overtook the mighty (fat) GS this year so, what will EBR bring to the party this time around? A replacement for the Ully XB12X is a must if they want to have a chance of building a new following in Europe. Not holding my breath ...

Somewhere in the back of my mind lurks a design mock up prototype or just the registration of an EBR AX, the A standing for "Adventure " as I understand it. Just how adventurous a 185 BHP engine could be remains to be seen. The RX and SX models where never intended as sports / touring bikes so maybe with longer suspension, bigger seats, taller bars, heated grips and some wind protection, they might just reinvent the Ully. You can always unplug one injector and plug wire to reduce the HP.
There wouldn't be a different state of tune. That would require passing new testing. They need to get their feet back on the ground before they ever consider that. So I guess the AX will probably stay on the shelf a little longer.
