Got home from work yesterday dinner (12.30 finish fridays, yippee) and straight round to the post office to tax the 12s. (S1 and triumph april to sept, 12s may to oct in case summer hangs around ) Pumped the tyres up, put the battery on and for the first time since october it burst into life like it was started only the day before. :D .For the first time in memory i put this one away at the end of summer without changing the oil and filter and can't remember why :old: . So off for a 10 mile warm up (It was bloody freezing) and back into the garage to drop the oils and filter. Left it to really drain down over night. Watched the weather forecast for the pennines at tea time which said saturday, dry bright and 12 degrees, rain coming in early evening. Got up this morning to grey overcast skies. Watched weather forecast again whilst eating brekkie it now said rain mid morning ie now, in all day  How can they get it so wrong less than 12 hrs back  I'd sack the bastids. So it looked like a garage day again. In with fresh oils and a new filter a squirt of grease for the output shaft, a tweak on the primary tensioner and as i had new wheel bearings on the shelf, out came the front wheel and in went the new bearings. I managed 12.5k on the origional fronts. I did the rears about 800 miles back when i fitted the rizoma rear pulley as the pulley completely hides the rear RH bearing. So all i need now is some sunshine and a bit more warmth and a weather forecast that can be believed :yup:

I hope so Jez. I can't believe how that bike steers. I came to a set of left /right flip flop bends far quicker than any of the other bikes and considering i've not had my arse on that seat for 6 months it went round them without batting an eyelid. ( It wasn't me m'lud, it was the bike, it made me do it ) :run:
