OK I'm in my first winter on my Ulysess and the lights are rubbish.

What you guys using?

I'm stuck between 55w HID with slim converter, (I have heard there can be a delay when whitching to main beam?)

LED's etc etc

Also considering extra front spots

I've got a Simpson Detour conversion...

I had HIDs on my Firebolt, they were bright but when you cycle high and low beam they don't like it and mine blew the transformer. Besides you piss other motorists off. In addition, the type of light they give out is not (and I may have to :couch: ) particularly friendly to the reflector finish.

The real fix is to buy an S1 or an X1... The headlamps are as headlamps should be :sun:

Use HiD blubs plus, i did the wiring alteration that allows the high beam to work alongside the main beam. This makes quite a difference and its a easy job. Find it in the TEC section.
I came across some LED lamps a few months ago however, the dimensions did not allow for fitment to Ully lamp units.
