After 4 years I thought I'd return and have a nosey around on here to see what's occurring. I sold my Uly in 2009 and have missed it ever since, I loved that bike. Bought a HD 'cos my wife wanted something more comfy. We got rid of that last year after I got knocked off my other bike by a hit & run van driver! Bastard!!. Anyway, I would love to get another bike but time and money are making it difficult at the moment. I know that Maz will probably cringe at this, but I would love another Uly. Just need to convince my wife :-).

Marriage guidance from Finmows and Maz lOl Better move this to Social lOl

Main reason I got the Uly was so the wife would come out. After six years she finally sat on it for 1000 mls to Lisbon via Plymouth. Liked it so much she flew home from there lOl I have the good fortune to own four Buells but the Uly is my default machine for anything - touring, country lane bimbling, mild off roading, winter riding etc You name it and it will do it.

I love my White Lightning but it's given me a lot more grief than the Uly, I've done 25000 miles on the S1W in fourteen years as opposed to 32000 miles in seven years on the Uly.

Best bike I've ever owned 8-)

Steve
