I've recently bought a T5 as well

It easily fits 2 bikes using front wheel chocks, with a strap between the two bikes and then one each side from the swinging arm to the van floor. Put a bungee around the front brake lever and the bikes are very secure

Doing this doesn't compress your suspension
I've got one of those alloy ramps but find them too short for loading road bikes, so I made my own two piece ramp that's about 10ft long. It makes loading MUCH easier

Have you had your T5 remapped? The local Black Code Dealer reckons he can get upto 170 bhp out the TDI with a lot more torque. I'm toying with the idea, but would like feedback from someone who's got experience of this before I splash out

Lots of advice on re mapping on T4/T5 forum
Need to be careful who does it though!Could mess up your ECM.
The best is Pendle and Celtic tuning that's what they say.
Doing mine before my next trip with the bike as i found it a bit low on tourqe with all the spares in the back
It's just a 102 so thinking of taking it up to 130,don't fancy going more as people have had problems with clutches and other stuff.
Here is the bike on mine.
I use the anchoring bolts on the side with cargo straps and made a stop attached to front passenger seat.
2000 miles in France and solid.
