my little switch that toggles the Odo/trip function on a late X1 is dead and since i cant get an original from HD ( ) i was just wondering if anyone has replaced theirs with anything that fits nicely in the hole and looks ok.

( or happens to have a working one lying around that they arent planing to use )

looking inside the rubbery bit, the only thing that needs changing is a generic microswitch - looks suitable for surface mounting on a PCB - which should cost pence.

something like the attached photo: which i guess should be available from tandy / radio spares / similar.

now to test my spanish translation & search engine abilities to see if i can track one down over here
