just a quickie, will a late model 1200 xb motor fit in a tube frame? do the mounts line up etc? has anyone done it? cheers, muzz ;)

Mounts are totally different.

.....and even if the XB motor would fit, why would you want to downgrade ?.....no cassette gearbox, crap main bearings on the crank, crap clutch basket bearing, etc. etc. :roll:

Best to use the good stuff off the XB motor like the heads and rocker boxes as a tuber motor upgrade then.

already done that , just no horse power and there is one on ebay! cant find a proper motor for piss all! well its only taken me 2 years to get to rolling chassis so good things come to those who take it easy i guess? :yup:
