Sorry to hear that you dropped your bike, we have all done it at one time or another.

Well I dropped the bike off today and priced the parts.
The rad cover is just under £100 and the puck is £160.
I can't beleive that is the price just for the puck as I expected it to be for the whole cover.
The clutch cover is £300.
I think I am just going to take the puck off rub it down and paint it.
I am hoping Spondon will manufacture these at some time.
As for the rad cover it's not that bad and I am going to live with it for now and try and clean it up a bit.
It dosen't look that bad and it's just the fact that it's a brand new bike that really pisses me off.

I have also lost a screw from the rear light and the bolt and spacer that went missing form the footrest hanger.
I ordered the new bolt and spacer about 3 weeks ago and they are still waiting on the spacer which is rediculous.

I feel your pain Norrie, I came back to my new car in the car park at the garden centre at the weekend, to find a crease in the door...gutted :( The car is only 4 weeks old and my pride and joy. I was not naive enough to think it would spend a lifetime without picking up a blemish, but only 4 weeks old really hurts. Like your bike, it is only tiny and probably hardly noticable, but I wanted to cry - then find the culprit and strangle them!!

There must be some kind of award for that, surely ......

In 10+ years of UKBEG forum posts, that's the first time ever that the words "garden" and "centre" have been used together! :o

I know of a very good smart repairer that will take the dent out of the door.
I got a parking ding in my Crossfire drivers side door and he removed it for £40.
Money well spent as it would have annoyed me everytime I seen it.

You'll find a slot in the case underneath the puck, this is for a screwdriver.....just twist the screwy and off it pops ;)

ah man, crap news, well firstly your not damaged, bike is a little and very fixable.

Glad you had the PUCKS on the bike, does make a difference having them on.
I'll ask a few dealers around here for pricing if you wish.

Yeah I've just popped it off.
I can't believe that they charge £160 for it.
It dosen't look that bad and I'm just going to take it into my work tonight rub it down and paint it.
Hopefully the likes of Spondon will start making these.

Maz are they different for each year of bike?

Sorry to hear about your drop Norrie.
As for the Plastics, can't you polish them out, I assume they are injected moulded colour like the XB's so the colour goes all the way through the plastic?
