XB left side scoops can direct the rain onto the front plug lead (in a heavy downpour)
i was doing 90 along the motorway , then 60 in the blink of an eye..
this is why mine was running on one at Brooklands couple of years back.
the cable tie mod fixed it

I had the single cyclinder experience riding home last nite, it seemed to do it when I was at steady rpm/ speed and the engine switched into its closed loop map, I always get a little stutter in the dry when it switch's over, but the damp was too much for it, time for a cable tie then!

Run the Uly three days ago. Bike was dry and it run fine. Today after rain and with a cover on, no water on the engine, it was missing till it warmed up. It is clear that damp is getting into the system. Not a big deal but something that should not happen on a modern bike .
