Ok, I spent the day working out what my toolbox needed to get the job done. I managed to find some interesting bits including an AF set of Allen keys which contains a 3/8" key for the pinch bolt, an adapter for a 1/4" drive torque wrench I have borrowed, and some deep sockets (3/8" drive) for the harder to reach nuts.
The one thing I cannot find is something to replace the 22mm (looks more like 7/8" to me) axle removal tool.
I remember seeing it in the tool kit I got with the bike (the emergency kit), but didn't think much of it as I couldn't work out what it was for

- I doubt I would have thrown it out, but I can't find it for the life of me and it is the one thing I need to begin the process.
I managed to find a photo of it which reminded me exactly what it was, thanks to Badweb!
So, when I find it or something similar, I can have a go at changing over to "Al's fruity steel beauty"! (which is still forlornly in my garage ATM
