BTW bad luck on your spill and sustaining a broken collarbone. I did mine 2 Christmases ago on Christmas Day!!!!!

Ouch - but - pleased it is not too bad. Only ever broken one collar bone, and never intend to again. Like Kev says, the first morning is the worst, after that is just hurts. Mend well.

This might not be the same thing Buzz but I was not told, after breaking my arm, that not moving limbs freezes up the joints. Then you have to work them back in and that is very painful. Ask about it as it could save you a lot of pain later.

Never trust anyone and get at least 2 opinions on any medical problem. Please, please trust me on this one because I have seen it a number of times.
