It looks like a Saddleman seat. St Pauls HD in the states item 12153; they were discounted from UD$260 to $200 in 2012 not sure if still available.

I was going to get my name down on bad web for a new one when this Saddleman track carbon came up on eBay for £92.

Just about to go to post office to pick up so can't comment on comfort yet but I find stock seat uncomfortable after an hour.

You're getting the hang of this place, Joop. Keep the bike and stick around. ;)

Went for a short ride today to drop the bike off at Twiggers in Loughborough. My new seat is VERY comfortable and I would recommend to all and the bike was a joy to ride. Pick the bike back up next Friday as every bugger seems to have taken their bike in to get sorted for the nice weather.

Jobs being done ...

Michelin Pilot Power CT2s going on as still on original tyres that do not instill confidence.
New wheel bearings
Steering head bearing
New pads all round
Full service inc all fluids
Remove that sodding alarm that he forgot when I had the stator done

Proper looking bike,
although an aftermarket rearshock would have been one of the first things I modified.

I don't know if I know enough about a bikes set up to know if the rear shock was good or not without comparing it to another with a better shock?.

I did have an RSV Mille that I thought was a great ride and started to spend lots of money upgrading then thought, why the hell am I doing all this, may as well just buy a Mille R. Well it works out the Ohlin set up was amazing on the R and just gave me more confidence than the Showa set up but without comparing the two I would have been non the wiser.

I got the bike back yesterday and couldn't resist going for a ride (and a massive bacon sandwich).

Went up to CMC at Chesterfield, Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock etc. Don't know if it's my new seat and dropped pegs but after four plus hours messing about, I felt as fresh as a daisy and not a single ache. I expected to feel like shit after my first ride and at the very least feel a few aches this morning but nothing.

So on top of being brilliant fun the 1125R is without a doubt the comfiest bike I have ever owned and really did benefit from the new tyres.
