Would anyone please be kind enough to check the between centres dim on the 1125 rear shock, if they have one available?

Many thanks,

Nige. 8-)

I just got around to thinking about this again.

Anybody got the between centres dim on an 1125 rear shock then, please?

Nige. :?

Kev is probably around 6 ft. and if you believe everything you read on this site, he does like to ride, :yup: but at times he is spoilt for choice which model to ride first

If it matters I'm about 5 6.

I am also 55 which is probably a factor too.
I can manage.
It would just be more comfortable if it were an inch or so lower.

no slur intended i was curious as i said i am 5' 5" and 53 and as happy as a Cheshire cat. all three of my buells are like your favorite gloves. i dialed them in for my weight and height after fitting the low seats to them and i love em

Aye, low seat isn't an option on a Firebolt.

That is why I am looking at this idea.

I,ve worked it out that if you let 18 psi out of each tyre it will be about an inch lower. Hope this helps :yup:

The 1125 rear (stock) shock length is 320 mm (eye to eye)
http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messa ... 1312301432

but probably it does not fit on a xb frame

You can get the seat re-worked on R models to gain an extra inch of leg room - Joe (littlebutquick) did this when he got his CR (same seat), he recently tried to sell his seat on Ebay -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/buell-1125R-C ... 3cce2aca4c

You could try contacting him through Ebay - I don't think he comes on here any more ...
