I think Buells are an acquired taste and some people just don't get on with them.

I've had 5 Buells, all of them had at least 2 previous owners

Some would say it's because they're unreliable or always need fixing... I've not found any of my buells to be any less reliable than any of my other bikes, in fact I had more issues with 2 previous BMWs than all 5 buells put together!

The main reason I've chopped and changed is that I've had issues with my back that's had me changing around trying to find the perfect solution... That and I'm fickle!

I'm finally lucky enough to be able to afford to keep 2 bikes - I now have my Super comfy GS for most days and have my Uly, modded to suit me to ride whenever the sun's out!

I'd agree with that Bill ,
I agree with the two bike thing as well , my first line has evolved into my Blade and I am holding at that , the second line has got as far as the Buell and I think I am going to stay at that for a few years ? I love the way everything is chunky and solid on Buells , unlike the flimsy jap stuff , like driving a tank , get some great looks and double takes too as we thud past .

Mike.
