Best wishes Maz, I'll have to ride up to you for bits then, no problem and certainly no problem of yours.
Be seeing you.

Perhaps when some one is planning a trip they could mention it here and some folk could contribute to the trip in return for some bits getting closer to them (Did that make sense  ).

Developing a sense of humour is only one step away from becoming cheerful! :o I think you need to go back to the mail order. ;)

Isn't this called networking or logistics? Alternatively, what about some sort of delivery service? All you need is a punter with a van with some free time, who can collate the orders, and then maybe one day a week delivering. If I had more time I would organise it.

Well sounds to me like a big step towards retirement :old: ....

Sure is you wont make a living just fixing "real" Buells as they are more reliable, easier and cheaper to fix :yup: .

So what's next? You moving somewhere sunny in the south :sun: ??

Thinks Maz's dropped the mail orders because he's heard I'm looking for a new Buell, he knows he'll have to find another 10 hours a week for my servicing/fit it/leave it for a day or two/don't like it Maz/ take it off please Maz/ sell it for half the purchase price, tendancies :o

Maz you obviously love working on all things buell (possibly even the XBs :oooops: ) you also obviously enjoy giving advice, i know i have picked your brains (and Tubbs) on more than one occasion, i agree that this level of tech know-how shouldn't come free, I’m sure there must be a way of putting aside a period each week and answering technical enquires, i don’t know the set up costs but what about a premium phone line???... an hour a day or a period once a week where people could ring therefore you would be paid for your time?
£40/hour = 66p an minute..
what percentage of your customers are on here? you can set it up that its a message on your answerphone 'leave a number of you want to book a service, if you have technical enquires, please call 0898........... between 12 and 1pm monday to friday'

Would people pay that? Obviously you would need to be strict as to what you offered on your normal number but i don’t see you a someone who would have a problem hanging up

as for spares.. well done its a mugs game for a small firm... shame for us that need quality parts...

anyway good luck with it, and i for one thank you for all that you have done for us all

Sorry Maz :sad1:

I feel really guilty now after calling you yesterday and withdrawing my offer of free doughnuts because you can’t fettle with my bike till the end of June.
Never mind I will still bring the doughnuts and what about a nice relaxing massage :worthy:
