As posted elswhere here I broke down on the XB12XT near Bath, on the side of the road, on a friday evening....just lost all power and bike died doing about 55mph....coasted to a stop...tried to restart...turning over but not starting.....pushed up the road about 50m to a small petrol station....no joy in getting it running again.....

Tried multiple times until battery started waning....called Insurance breakdown service....bike picked up 5 hours later and went off on its merry way on the back of a truck.

Managed to get Maz on the phone on the Saturday and he said to send the bike on to him.

Flew back to Ireland and flew back over a couple of weeks later, in bike gear, not fun in the heat, to pickup the bike

As well as fixing the problem, blown fuel pump fuse, I also had him do a complete 10k service as well as a good few other bits that needed some TLC after 16 years.....got a comprehensive report on all the work done, parts supplied, testing of fuel pump (I opted to replace it as bit awkward to get back to Maz from Ireland if it was going to be an issue in the future), suspension setup and various other Maz tweaks done etc. Bike is running very very well and no issues on the way home...

He definitely knows his stuff and he has one of the best equipped and tidiest bike workshops I've seen.

Highly recommend Maz's work, top man, knows his stuff, great attention to detail. If you want the best you know where to go !!

Bike back home in the shed now, been away so havent been out in the last few weeks but hoping to this week if it stops raining or if its not roasting hot...weather cant seem to make up its mind in the last few days.
