I finished last years RWYB season still hunting for the elusive 10s 1/4 mile, after much deliberation I decided to go with a set of N4 cams from Andrews, I ordered online and collected from my stepsons when we were on hols last year saving a few quid on postage and import duties.
Next on the list was to find another set of barrels, my originals suffered from a melted rear piston in 05 and despite a 30 thou rebore there was a very slight mark and lower compression on said rear pot, anyhow I did find a pair of standard jugs earlier this year and had those bored to suit my pistons and new rings, heads got a good clean and valves lapped, now all rebuilt and running sweet.
I've also junked the ignition switch in favour of a heavy duty on/off switch after forgetting the keys and having to hotwire it last time out
Let's hope some normality returns sooner than later
