Em's Day 2022

Postby delw » Tue Apr 19, 2022 7:03 pm

Tickets now on sale.
See https://www.ukbuellgroup.co.uk/450376484

Location, see: Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre + Buell & Italian Motorcycle Event

Having an advance ticket speeds up your entry to the event without the need for handling cash and the obvious delays this can cause during the peak arrival period.

If you don’t have access to a printer and/or a smart phone, just quote your 3-digit ticket number and your name when you arrive.

We realise not everyone can commit to buying an advance ticket, so you also have the option to pay cash on the gate.

Online ticketing for this event is now live. Payment is through PayPal.

Adult £10.00
Senior Citizens £9.00
Children 6 to 15 years old £4.00
Family two adults and two children £26.00
HM Armed Forces £9.00

Please pay via this secure link: https://www.paypal.me/ChristopherJ527

If possible, select the ‘family and friends’ payment option.

Bookings can be made for multiple people with one payment. Please list all the names required for the tickets.

You will receive your ticket(s) via email.

We will issue full refunds through PayPal if the event is cancelled.

Email chris.jessop@ukbuellgroup.co.uk for any queries.

Em’s Day 2022 will commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Buell XB platform. See: Buell XB 20th Anniversary

As part of the Buell XB platform 20th Anniversary, we will have Brian & Tracey’s Buell XBRR at this year’s event. Jeremy McWilliams rode this machine at the 2006 Daytona 200. It is #2 out of 56 made. See pictures below taken at Em's Day 2020 and the NCCR Sweden video.

On Sunday 14th August, Brian & Tracey’s Buell XBRR can also be seen and heard at Cadwell Park where it will be ridden in a classic motorcycle track day event.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Riders attending Em’s Day 2022 from mainland Europe qualify for free entry to this year’s event. You will still need a pass for entry so please contact us direct by email: chris.jessop@ukbuellgroup.co.uk

I'll be there and spoken to a few others who should definitely be there - Albert666 and Shelly, SillyB, S3Tim and Neil Parmer to name a few.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I won’t be coming to Ems Day on the Buell X1, as I have not been able to rectify the MOT failures in Time.

I have it booked in at Northants V-Twin on 17th August to get the rear wheel bearings fitted, new tyres and MOT, ( including legal registration plate).

But, I will be coming to Ems Day on my BMW instead.

Looking forward to seeing lots of ‘old’ faces 😊

Let's hope the tarmac doesn't melt.
Keep me an ice-cream on ice. See you there.

Nearly here folks , the only slight downside is that it sounds like the Lancaster won't be doing it's taxi runs on Saturday as the aviation centre are concerned about the high temperatures forecast for this weekend , I believe they will be keeping it sheltered in the hanger as much as possible. I think this must be the first ever Emsday that there has been concern about it being too hot and dry :D lOl

Yes a good day , nice to see old friends ( sorry fins didn’t recognise you at first with the bandana and whiskers must be a :old: thing on my part ).
lovely day , nice and cool when setting off at 7 am , meet up with willy , pepper, coco and a few others at Newark petrol station , think it was about 9 of us for the final 40 mile ride along back country lanes to avoid traffic to airfield , with EBR doing a good job of running block at junctions until we had all got out :yup:
But as said, good to see and catch up with people hadn’t seen for years, pepper, Dave H , Tigs , Kev and Ronnie, Albert and Shelly , and the one and only Willybuell . :worthy:
God willing hope to see you all there next year :yup:
