Distinguished Gentleman's Ride ...Solent 2022
Well that was an adventure ..someone nicked the direction signs , which caused a couple of errors as we sheep followed the leader.. , before a grown up sorted us out ...
then we got to the first pub rallying point , only to find the pub wouldn't be open for an hour 🤣
.....still the organisers, appointed some mobile marshals to sort us all out , & we rode on to the Bursledon Brick works , but before we got there my Buell decided that the bolt holding on the gear lever needed to work loose 😀
which I noticed when trying to change gear....had to reach down while riding to hand tighten it as there was no place I could stop initially...got to the Bursledon Brick works OK just tighten the bolt up an Happy Days 😁🤞....a great day out thanks to the unsung heroes who organised, then delt with the situations as they arose 👍👏👏👏👏 thank you.
