May have a ride down there Steve if you want some company?
I'm thinking of M1, M69, crossing the M6 onto the A46 then onto the A429 for me. Google estimates 2hr's 22mins, seems a long time for 121 miles to me. Although I guess if we do meet up it may take longer for the second half with your one handed riding pose.
Anyway, is that near enough to meet up maybe on the A46 if you take the M6 from your end.
Let me know if you're up for it & I'll get a ticket ok. Paul.
Ride Safe & Stay between the hedgerows.

Went there recently (my observer took me on one of our rides during my advanced training). It's basically a big barn of a showroom filled with some interesting classic cars and bikes. Staff are really friendly and welcoming and happy for you to have a good look around. They also have a good cafe serving decent coffee and snacks to my liking (can't go wrong with a decent sausage roll and a piece of millionaire's slice lOl ). Don't think you'll get a full English there but I could be wrong .

Sounds good, get yourself a ticket. If it pi$$es down it's only a tenner......we'll sort a route out....I'll wait for you, no problem. Bring your autograph book as its Henry Coles usual hang out. Or get him to sign your inner thigh next to the John Mcguiness tattoo. :D
