Yesterday morning started well with 5 runs getting slightly faster each time the last one before lunch break was 2 100ths of a Pb but as I cruised back down the return road I thought it sounded a bit funny, straight back to the van only to discover a broken exhaust stud on the front head
End of the day right there, I got home around 5.30pm and immediately got stuck into it, luckily I managed to remove the broken bit and refit a new stud.
Next event is the 25th of June and a trip to the Dyno this Tuesday to get the fuelling set up correctly

be interesting after you get the fueling sorted on tuesday what times that will bring next time out

Tuesdays Dyno session was a success and worth the 200 odd mile round trip to Yorkshire, as I thought I was running overly rich but in the interest of safety ie not blowing the engine up again it was essential until set up correctly.
A couple of base runs showed exactly where we needed to be and by putting a slightly smaller jet in the fuel solenoid the next run was much better, finished off with a tad under 115bhp and 112ft-lb 💪🏻 which is the most it's made so far,
Now I just have to wait until the 25th of June to see how it goes
