Quick update, whilst working last night I got myself in a bit of a pickle, ended up in Fazakerly hospital after getting a major crush injury to my stomach/ abdomen, had an angeogram to sort out a bit of internal bleeding so I definitely won't make it down on Saturday, apologies to any of you guys who were going to make the trip....... October the 5th anyone :?:

Unfortunately I ran straight past the turning for Wellingbro, (Santa Pod) on my way to Essex in my car as it was raining in Matlock when I left.
Wasn't disappointed as it really pissed it down twice en route & again when I got to Gt Dunmow despite being excellent inbetween.
Bit green on my way home this Am though as the weather was great & I would've loved it on the bike.
Shame about Santa Pod though, maybe next time.
Thanks for your support Gus.

Yes definitely. :yup:
I'm not sure how the weather was at Santa pod but I got rained on from Matlock to the M1 then at Cambridge & again on the M11, absolutely pissed it down & it was coming across the country from east to west. I was in two minds to call in just to have a look as along the A14 it was pretty much fair although cloudy. My sister is having a hard time at the moment & I decided to go straight to see her.
I'll get my steering head bearings done now in preparation for next time. Give me a nudge when your going next if you don't mind & I'll try to meet you there.
Hope you get better soon Gus, sorry to hear about your injuries.
