Hmmm,

I've got 15 Leonard Cohen albums, alas none of them are festive.
Although looking through the track listings "Bird on a wire" may have been a partridge & "Suzanne" may have been an angel. Who knows? But they aren't festive songs.

I'll fill the player anyway & bring just in case all else fails, who ever volunteered the Iphone, you're on.

All the best Paul.

Like Mark says , it was a fantastic evening as always 8-) a smaller turn out than normal but still great night with some great bargains to be had in the auction ;) Also I'd like to say a massive thanks for the Yoffi memorial award 8-) I never ever expected to receive this and it is now proudly on display in the lounge 8-)

Thank you to everyone that came to Sproutfest this year & to echo what others have said, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. As always a special thanks the Mojo Mick for another hilarious awards speech & methods of extracting cash for the auction items. Thanks also to Jill for providing the sound system & sorry that I didn’t realise that my state of the art, ridiculously expensive iPhone XS Max doesn’t have a poxy headphone port  (of course it does really, it’s just via an adapter, in the box, at home!!!! ) but we overcame adversity as usual!!
Finally a huge thanks to Anna for donating the Buell-tiful blanket that massively swelled the auction funds; Dave from Scotland was the generous high bidder & im sure he will be delighted with his purchase, it was simply spectacular :worthy:
We raised about £630 towards forum funds so many thanks to all that contributed or purchased in the auction :yup:
I’ll put up a separate sticky but Sproutfest next year is Sat Dec 7th 8-)
Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas & a Happy New Year :)

Hi Folks.
Thanks for a great night at Sproutfest, really enjoyed meeting you all.
Hats of to the organisers (just had to get there & everything else was sorted) & thanks to everyone who made me feel very welcome.
Special mentions to Alison & Adam who re-kindled my inspiration to get there & also to Mick, Att & Eric for some lively conversations, but you were all very kind & friendly & I enjoyed it immensely. What a really solid group of people, I was knocked out by your generosity of spirit.
And thanks for the award, totally unexpected!
My sincere thanks to all of you for a great night.

As everyone else has said, it was a great night, and we need to try and encourage more people to attend. I have rebooked for next year :yup: :yup:

Just as a random suggestion, do you think more people would attend an annual awards night, meal and auction at a different time of year, as Christmas can be rather busy with other events going on?? Just an idea, as I said.

Nah ........... sproutfest is the only thing that makes Christmas worthwhile ;) ;) if we didn't have it at this time of year i couldn't use it as an excuse to miss our work one when they can be bothered to have one lol
All other invites come second to sproutfest ;)
