UKBEG members may be interested in this event which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday. The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre (where we hold Em's Day) holds its third 'Props and Pistons' event which features classic aircraft flying displays and exotic cars including Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis, Bentleys and Aston Martins. Location and event details can be found here We'll be there from around 10.00am and the weather forecast looks good enough to use the S1 ... Aircraft display timetable: Lancaster taxi-runs at 11am, 1.30pm and 4.00pm 2 off P51 Mustangs flying display at 2.00pm B25 Mitchell bomber flying display at 2.30pm BBMF Avro Lancaster flying display at 3.15pm BBMF Spitfire & Hurricane flying displays at 3.35pm Admission rates: Adults- £10.00 Seniors- £9.00 Children 0-15 years- Free

We had a terrific day out at East Kirkby yesterday - Jane's Guzzi rolled over 85,000 miles and I had a great ride there and back on the S1.

And all in beautiful weather :sun:

There was a good selection of four-wheeled machinery on show and the aircraft displays were as good as ever. The B25 Mitchell bomber, which had flown over from the Netherlands for its first ever display at East Kirkby, put on a breathtaking show. The Dutch pilot was throwing it around like a fighter :worthy:

and for its finale it flew very low (and I mean low

) over the airfield.

That looked a fantastic day out Chris .................. if I hadn't been at Cadwell superbikes I would have definitely have had a look
