...'cos we're righteous down here in da sarf, the Lord will be making the :sun: to shine upon us on Sunday...that's if the current forecast can be believed...
Great day out last year, hoping for more of the same this time, anyone interested in meeting up along the way to Beaulieu?

Forgotten what my bike looks like.....

 :headbang:

mid 30's out here, threatening thunderstorms......

Beaulieu seems a world away, oh my mistake, it is!

Enjoy the weather and the ride.

We can't miss each other, we'll be the only two on Buells, :yup:
look for groups of people of around 5 persons or so standing and pointing at where the fuel tank should be and the swinging arms

Yeah, wasn't all that, was it.
Think the weather put some of the Traders off ....as in previous years... only about a third of what I expected though and they were mostly selling the same cheap n nasty shite and 'bankrupt stock' Oxford crap, not very inspiring.
I don't think it's too expensive for bikers to get in (£10 on the day, who's going to buy tickets in advance this summer?) but I've heard that it's not cheap for the exhibitors. Food wasn't great either...and no 'proper' coffee anywhere
Stunt show was the same old, same old....
Had a mooch about looking at everyones bikes, bumped into Arizona Phil and Kev and then buggered off earlier than expected.
Star of the Show to me was a brand new Triton; Hinckley Bonny lump in a 'featherbed clone' frame... modern forks and brakes... lovely ally tanks and guards... very nicely done it was. :worthy:
Didn't get to hear what the 'People's Choice' was... probably some hideously over-customised Hardley or fully dressed Goldwing... ...this was mainly due to the plummy-mouthed announcer (son of Montague?) not announcing what it was when he announced the winner...what a twat!... from his tannoyed twaddle it was evident he knew absolutely NOTHING about bikes or bikers...
Impressed I was not.
Still, it was a dry day :sun: and a chance to burn a tank of Optimax. :yup:
