Post subject:  Car & Bike Restoration Show, Donington, Monday 2nd January.
UKBEG members may be interested in the Classic Car & Bike Winter Restoration Show which is being held at the Donington Park Exhibition Hall on Monday 2nd January.

It runs from 10am to 3pm - admission for adults costs £8.

We intend to go - there's plenty to interest all committed petrol-heads and it'll be an ideal way to blow away those New Year cobwebs.

A bit chilly today but we had a great ride down to Donington - there's some good roads in Derbyshire, we must get down there more often.

It wasn't a bad little show, managed to stock up on some cheap workshop consumables and there was a good selection of cars and bikes on display.

Bettson 2 litre V8, hardly a thing of beauty but interesting from an engineering point of view:
