We're posting the Moto GP tickets out today via recorded delivery.

Update from Silverstone yesterday regarding parking:

Unfortunately, due to very limited space, we were unable to provide you with an internal parking area for this event.

I can advise that all bikes can park in the external Car Park 49 – no passes required, and cars can park in Car Park 50 – passes are required for this area. If you anticipate several of your members to arrive in cars please provide me with a number and we will issue some passes, subject to approval, to ensure you do not have to purchase them separately at your additional cost.

Does anyone require car passes?

Mike, you're in luck, they sent one car pass with the tickets.

If anymore are required I'll need to know ASAP in order to get them in time.

Can anyone point me at a link for Silverstone maps that show the location of the car parks, car park 49 and car park 50?

Mike - follow signs for the main entrance to the circuit and paddock. Just before you get to the large roundabout immediately in front of the main entrance you'll see car park 49 on your left and car park 50 on your right.

I can't find a link to a map showing this detail :(......

Thanks for arranging this, CJ, my ticket arrived yesterday. Checking prices for a friend today and just Sunday with roving grandstand will be £80 prebooked as opposed to our £55 and we get Friday and Saturday thrown in if we want it :yup:

CJ tickets arrived yesterday. Muchas Gracias for arranging. I've looked at the website and they've put the start finish back to where it used to be, between Woodcote & Copse so not sure where to sit!

Sorry about that Alan - I share your frustration. The notice about the change in parking arrangements was sent to all the motorcycle clubs attending Moto GP after everyone had bought the discounted tickets. I don't know what they're doing with the area originally allocated for the 'Club Zone'......

On a more positive note, thanks to the Royal Mail everyone has now received their tickets, including Rob in his remote alpine lodge. Here's hoping for some decent weather next weekend and that Cal and Bradley can at the very least remain upright during Sunday's race....
