Well I'm home after covering just under 1100 (s) miles, amazing trip, absolute scream with the crowd, great roads and only 3 real scary moments. Go-Karting was an off the cuff bit of fun.....and before Digger comes along-yes he got the fastest lap, yes he is a pensioner but yes he is 20kg lighter than me!! lOl lOl Mrs Adam and Debbie were like women possessed and grinning from ear to ear after each session. Huge thank you to Digger for organising my trip of the year ( and that's my whole trip, not just the week in Ireland! Bike will now be washed and parked up for 8 months

Got home last night at 8-30pm after a 1086 mile week on the CR 8-) .... the bike ran faultlessly two up and fully loaded with luggage for most of it :D
Highlight of the week for us was seeing the smile on Erics face 8-) it really was fantastic having him with us and seeing the smile on his face 8-) at one point I thought i'd see just how fast that quad was going and was that busy looking at my speedo doing 70mph that when I looked back up he had pulled about 100 extra meters distance on me lOl
The weather was good to us as well because on the Thursday we had torrential rain which meant that days events was cancelled after practice and at that point the forecast for Sat was even worse and looked like the whole event might have been abandoned ....... thankfully the forecast changed and after a small amount of rain the weather held for the complete day of racing 8-)
There was a few bike problems with Martins ducati the first with a blown rear shock ...... then Frankies belt breaking on the Ully , Dunc had a fan issue on the Xb which proved the worth of ECMDroid for it's diagnostics , thankfully the lack of fan didn't cause Dunc any problem apart from the annoying red warning light lOl , then Robins Triumph succumbed to an intermittent cutting out fault and then it was Frankies turn again when his newly belted ully suffered a rear wheel puncture . But in typical Buelligan fashion with people lending bikes to Martin and Adams recovery van for the puncture everybody was still able to enjoy all of the week 8-)

What a week! Digger, I'm sure I speak for every one here, thank you so much :worthy: Without your extensive planning and cat herding, it wouldn't have been anywhere near as brilliant :rotfl: Also special thanks to Derek, the surprise visit to your mates house on Friday was jaw dropping, I was speechless at what I saw, it puts the National bike museum collection in Birmingham to shame :yup:

Other highlights included seeing, hearing and licking the wonderful Britten, (the owners sidekick Johan will be joining us here on UKBEG when he gets his XB on return to NZ - he's a thoroughly nice bloke :yup: ), formation airtime flying with Beef deep into 3 figure speeds, the very best company in the World and last but no means least, I have to say that Eric was an inspiration to us all :worthy: (despite some dirty looks from the NI Police when Sheepy and me were trying some drag racing on your mobility scooter 2 up, before the roads opened lOl )

The best week, with the best people :sun:

Huge thanks to Big Andy & Derek for stepping up to the plate ..... if Martin didn't have chance to thank you properly himself, then I do on his behalf. What toffs. :yup:

Wow! What a week my first Diggertours, Alan and myself covered 1000 miles or so over the week.

Many thanks to digger for arranging the week, my highlight of the week was kev explaining why he was so slow on the go-karts (flat tyres) well he went quicker when he blew one;-) also thanks to everyone who made us very welcome.

Found an instant 5 seconds a lap when they gave me one with air in the tyres lOl

Not home yet, a wee detour via Knockhill and heading home tomorrow. I'll just echo everyone's comments on a brilliant week, excellent company and top craic and patter. And huge thanks to Andy and Derek for the bike loans and to PLR suspension and Arnie of Moto Shox who was a star and a gentleman. If anyone ever needs inspiration to get up and overcome difficulties then look no further than Eric.

All my pics up there now ... and the odd video for those who appreciate NZ technology 8-)

A huge thank you to young Digger. We had a great time in excellent company.

We have always wanted to do the Ulster GP. The videos can never do the circuit justice.

The trip up the Antrim coast was fantastic, with the lap of the Northwest, the icing on the cake. We ended up going to Joey’s Bar twice, and paid our respects, once more, to Joey and Robert at Garryduff.

Thought I had dreamt what I saw during “The Friday Visit” until I downloaded the pictures from my camera today. I still have a stirring in my loins.

Mrs Dusty and I have not toured on a motorbike for several years and covered nigh on 1100 miles with barely a cross word..

As we had time until our return crossing, we took in the Wicklow Mountains.

Got back in the early hours of this morning after the bloomin ferry broke down.

What can I say, that hasn't been said already? Not a lot, so I will just reiterate! Another fabulous Diggertour, in the very best of company. Thanks to Digger for his meticulous planning and devotion to our enjoyment. Thanks to Mrs Crabbitbear for my lovely, chilled girls day and the recommend of an excellent restaurant - nom, nom! Thanks to the tour candidates for the excellent company and thanks to the NI resident Beulligans for going that extra mile to make it such a special holiday, you are all bloody brilliant :yup:

After a very quick visit home, I am now firmly ensconced in Great Yarmouth for the week and Clive is at home, washing the bikes :yup:

Roll on the next one

Wow, what a week - did we really fit all that in?!

Thanks as always to No.1 and Kathryn just for being great folks and of course to Digger's incredible organizational skills and encyclopaedic knowledge of N. Irelands A and B roads. All the guys and gals were brilliant and we had a great hoot constantly. Gill is a hero for for travelling hundreds of miles on that S1 elastoplast Rich calls a seat. But the biggest hero is Eric for enduring obvious pain each time he got on and off his bus and how his smile came beaming through each night in the bar.

And Beef's my new high speed scratching buddy on the Duke MTS's - where were you Rich? lOl Big thanks to Derek and Big Andy for lending their bikes to Martin in his two days of need and for the amazing bike collection Derek and William showed us. And a big thanks to Hole Shot and PLR Suspension for sorting out Martin's rear shock - they are genuinely nice, helpful people who pulled out all the stops whilst being extremely busy down at the pits and back and forwards to Cadwell.

For any of you who have never been to N. Ireland or a road racing event then I thoroughly recommend you put it as the next thing on your bucket list.

Sharky - I mean Sheepy ;)

Apart from Martin's Sachs shock failing on his 10 year old S4 and Clive losing the plastic tit off his indicator switch all the Dukes ran like a dream. 8-)
