Been checking out the forum since I bought the bike back in September and you seem like a friendly lot so finally registered.

I was always curious about Buell and when my XB came up locally at a decent price I took the plunge and bought it.
I've only done about 500 miles so far but I quite like it ( although slightly paranoid about the belt snapping ).

Have a couple of old Ducati's in the shed as well as some old two strokes so not bothered about the odd mechanical / electrical problem.

Anyhow, must dash it's getting dark and I've got some wheel bearings to change ;)

Hi OJ and welcome to the forum. I had an Xb12s for a couple of years, which I eventually sold because of paranoia, and I have pretty much regretted it ever since. So just how far North are we talking......

Near Durham City so great access to the Durham Dales and Northumberland :yup:
