Good morning peeps, after a spell on a city cross I now have taken the plunge and bought myself an 1125CR.

I'm absolutely loving it... I've put about 2500 miles on it and nothing has gone awry (YET!!!) and am just touching base with the wondrous Tubbs about sorting the exhaust...This is where my first big ask comes in - would anyone be able to show me/help me get the pipe off to send to him??? I'm in North East London and would love to learn SO much about the bike but have to admit to being a spanner twit.....

SO - hello all and hope to meet a few folk soon!

Rachel

Hi Rach'
although you're darn sarth we love the idea of you astride a throbbing beastie - the CR is so bloody fast. I have the Lightening and my mate has the CR and both stretch your arms. Hope to see you at a meet....

Welcome Rachel ! :D

If you get stuck I'm about 10 minutes from junction 18 of the M25 - so you're not that far away all things told.

So what condition is your exhaust in ? Do you have any plans to get the bike tuned to match the exhaust ?

Thanks lot - about 40 minutes from you I reckon then!

If Tubbs can work the magic on the exhaust that I've read about in numerous posts then I would like to get the bike tuned to match whatever changes are brought about as a result of the Tubbs treatment 8-)

So.... to be honest I'm starting out completely afresh so don't really know what else I want to think about tuning wise at this stage

The main beef I'm finding is that it feels way too lean at low revs - guess that's to get the thing through fuelling/emission regs but I'm not sure if that would be sorted with a freer flowing exhaust?

Sadly I have a love of bikes which usually costs me toooooo much money lOl so no doubt I'll have to buy it lots of trick bits and pieces as soon as I can afford to do so!

Thanks for the location too - I'm just inwards of the M25 - about J23 1/2!!!
