Hi, should of done this a while ago but there you go.

Yellow XB12R, knackered big end. Hoping I can convince the hd people to help me out with some spares, just out of warrenty, If not I may do some runs on my push bike ........

If just out of warranty talk to citizen's advice about sale of goods act. Most things you buy are covered up to 6 years - these are the statutary rights all warranties have to say they don't effect.

But first try HD and see if they will help out of goodness of their hearts.

Then if no joy, just find original receipt and write to HD stating "which country's laws govern this sale of goods?" - will really shit them up.

Even if you are not original owner you still have these rights. The Law is there to stop shite being produced and for folks to lose faith in a consumer market.

no problem. As long as goods (mp3 player to car etc) have been used reasonably then consumer law is on your side.
