Went for a ride on a demo XB12S a few weeks ago and loved it.

" You can have a new one for the same price as our demo, sir. I'll phone you in a few days." said the salesman.

They didn't phone. I phoned them. Different salesman: " We're not getting any new ones and we sold our demo." Bugger. Thanks a lot.

The hunt was on. Rocking horse doo doos or what? It HAD to be Cherry Bomb Red.

Found a private sale and picked up a 2008 1200m XB12Scg last Saturday in howling gales and peeing down with rain and really enjoyed the ride although it was the first time the bike had got wet!

Looking forward to meeting up with a few of you. Regular down at the Ace Cafe on Sundays.
