I have finally got on the site after alot of frustrasion with my old pc Thanks Ash
Anyway I have just taken advantage of Buells demise and bought an 08 XB12XT as I have always liked Buells and after a test ride last year knew I had to soon get one or else lose my chance.
What a bike It goes like sh*t off a shovel I got a big surprise (or my lovely wifey did) when I accidently popped a wheely pulling away from the lights. WOW

My last seven bikes have all been Harley's and my last one a Road King which was a great bike but lacked a bit of get up and go. With the Buells panniers/topbox it easily matches the Roadkings storage and comfort I am told by the good lady is better as well - so all in all a very good buy at the right price

Im looking forward in making new friends in the Buell circle as I have with the Harley Riders Club GB.

Welcome, Foby, pleased you're enjoying the Uly. My boss's wife thought that was the most comfortable seat she had ever toured Europe on as well. Her previous perches had all been on BMW's and H-D tourers so she knows what she's talking about Found a good home for the Road King as well

Watcha Steve Do you know what mods if any were done to my bike? I am pleased my old Road King went to a good home as a great bike which I was sad to let go but I wanted a Buell and thought this would be a good buy because of who owned it

A big thank you to all that welcomed me into the club. I was very active with the HDRCGB in beeing regional Rep. for Anglia for three years so like to get involved.

Free Spirits Belt Tensioner, Righthand Airscoop and 07 exhaust downpipes and muffler from memory. Probably has a breather mod as well but I'm not sure. You'll love it

I do really think its a great bike - my friends think im daft swapping my Road King for it but I have had seven Harley's (all from BB ) and really did want a Uly before it was too late and love it
The only thing that lets it down is bad scoures on the nearside pannier Buell nameplate which I did tell Chris about when I collected it. I dont know if they are obtainable now the company has gone bust?
